KUWAIT CITY, Sept 24: The Kuwait men's and women's padel teams started their journey in the Asian and African qualifiers for the World Cup (Doha 2024), scheduled for next October on a winning note against Lebanon and Saudi Arabia, respectively.
In the men's event, Kuwait secured a well-deserved 3-0 win over Lebanon, while the women’s team also achieved a dominant 3-0 victory over Saudi Arabia. Elsewhere in the men's competition, Saudi Arabia edged past Senegal 2-1, while Bahrain triumphed over the Philippines, Japan defeated Oman, Iran overcame China, and Australia won against Thailand, all with 3-0 scores.
In the women's competition, Oman beat Lebanon 2-1, Senegal defeated Thailand 2-1, Iran secured a 3-0 victory over Bahrain, and Australia dominated the Philippines with a 3-0 scoreline.
