Kuwaiti Referred to Police for Insulting a Customs Officer at Abdali Port

KUWAIT CITY, Aug 26: Personnel from the Security and Ports Protection Department referred a Kuwaiti citizen to the Al-Qashaniyya police station after being accused of insulting a public employee while performing his duties. According to the complainant, a corporal working at the Abdali port, the incident occurred when the Kuwaiti citizen entered Kuwait. While the corporal was processing his transaction, the citizen reportedly raised his voice and said, "I’ve entered Kuwait, hurry up and finish your work."

A case has been registered against the citizen for insulting a public employee, which is classified as a misdemeanor.
