KUWAIT CITY, Jan 16, (KUNA): The Kuwaiti shooting team secured a silver and a bronze medal at the ongoing Kuwait Asian Shotgun Shooting Championship, featuring the participation of 26 teams. In the team competitions, Kuwait's Talal Al-Rashidi, Nasser Al-Muqlad, and Abdulrahman Al-Faihan clinched the bronze medal, with the Chinese team claiming gold and the Qataris securing silver.

In the junior singles competition, promising shooter Salah Al-Rashidi achieved second place after engaging in a fierce competition with his Lebanese counterpart, Ghassan Baaklini, who secured the first gold medal for the Arabs in the tournament. Chinese athlete Yan Zhen Liu earned the bronze medal.

Expressing pride in representing Kuwait, Salah Al-Rashidi highlighted the significance of winning the silver medal at this prominent continental event. He also acknowledged the support provided by the Kuwaiti Federation.
