KONYA, Turkiye, Aug 13: Sara Al-Hawal and Talal Al-Rashidi won the silver medal in the Double Trap competition of the fifth Islamic Solidarity Games, held in Konya, Turkiye. In statements to KUNA, both Al-Hawal and Al-Rashidi dedicated the win to the Kuwaiti people and the leadership, thanking their training staff and fellow athletes for their support.
The Games will continue until Aug 18 with the participation of 50 countries including Kuwait. Earlier, Kuwaiti shooters Abdulrahman Al-Faihan and Isa Al-Zankawi won two gold medals in the “Trap” and Discus throw contests respectively. Their compatriot Talal Al-Rashidi obtained the silver in the “Trap” of the games, which will run until Aug 18.(KUNA)
