KUWAIT CITY, Jan 30: The Kuwaiti Sporty Academy emerged as the champions in the Sixth International Friendship Football Championship hosted by the United Arab Emirates.

Nasser Badr Bilal, the talented star player from Sporty, garnered multiple awards during the tournament. Born in 2014, Bilal was recognized by the organizers as a promising Kuwaiti talent, possessing both football skills and intelligence that could propel him to stardom in the global football arena.

The tournament management arranged a closed training camp and organized several matches featuring teams from Emirati and Kuwaiti academies. Notably, the Sporti Club Academy fielded two teams, as did the Hattrick Academy from the Emirates. Additionally, the Kuwaiti Sporti Club was represented by two teams.

In its sixth edition, the tournament administrators commended the abundance of talented players, emphasizing the importance of fostering competition among budding talents in Gulf stadiums. The aim is to unearth a significant number of young stars who could potentially become the core of future teams and clubs.
