KUWAIT CITY, Feb 18: Kuwaiti squash athlete Abdullah Hani clinched the top spot on Sunday in the French Junior Open Squash tournament (Under 15 years) by triumphing over English player George Griffith in the finals. In an intense battle, Hani secured victory with a score of 32 points against Griffith's 17 points, navigating through a challenging five-game match. The game unfolded with scores of 11-5, 11-7, 6-11, and 17-15, showcasing the resilience and skill of both players.
The tournament, which commenced last Thursday in Lille, France, attracted 300 participants from various corners of the globe, highlighting the event's international appeal and competitive atmosphere. Hani's outstanding performance and ultimate triumph underscored his talent and dedication to the sport, earning him well-deserved recognition on the global squash stage.
