KUWAIT CITY, Dec 2: The Kuwaiti squash team delegation has departed for the 16th Kuala Lumpur International Open for Juniors (singles), which begins today and runs through December 8.

The delegation is led by Assistant Secretary Hamad Al-Daghim, accompanied by coaches Ahmed Abdel-Aal and Ahmed Al-Sayed. It includes six players: Issa Al-Najadah, Salman Al-Saleh, Abdullah Mayouf, Khaled Al-Madhen, Abdulaziz Al-Masbahi, and Saqr Al-Kandari.

Al-Daghim expressed confidence in the team's readiness, highlighting their strong technical and physical preparation. He emphasized that the players are exceptionally talented with promising futures and are key contributors to the national age-group teams.

He also disclosed that the national teams' committee and technical staff have developed a strategic plan for significant international competitions. This initiative aims to enhance the players' global exposure and technical expertise by competing against top-tier players worldwide.
