Kuwaiti stars shine in J60 Isfahan International Junior Championship

ISFAHAN, Sept 4:  Kuwaiti players Mohammed Al-Awadhi and Mohammed Al-Qali excelled in the J60 Isfahan International Junior Tennis Championship, currently underway in Isfahan, Iran. The duo advanced to the quarter-finals in the doubles competition after defeating the Iranian pair, Eric Abedinzadeh and Sam Atran, in a thrilling match that ended 2-1. Additionally, Mohammed Al-Awadhi reached the singles round of 16 by defeating Iranian player Bardia Daneshvar in straight sets.

This marks the second tournament in Isfahan in which the Kuwaiti national tennis team is participating. The Kuwaiti delegation for these championships includes Ahmed Al-Qallaf as the head of the delegation, Saad Al-Kandari as the administrator, Ali Al-Qali as the coach, and players Mohammed Jassim Al-Awadhi, Fawzan Fahad Al-Khashan, Mohammed Ali Al-Qali, and Fares Nasser Al-Kazemi.
