Kuwaiti suspect accused of murdering two Filipinas, Philippine official confirms

KUWAIT CITY, Jan 7: A Philippine lawmaker has accused a Kuwaiti national, who is already facing charges for killing and burying a Filipina domestic worker, of also killing a second Filipina months before the latter’s death, according to the Philippine daily newspaper Philstar Global.

Rep. Raffy Tulfo, who chairs the Senate Committee on Migrant Workers, revealed that the suspect allegedly murdered his Filipina girlfriend just a few months ago. Tulfo said he consulted with Migrant Workers Ministry Secretary Hans Leo Cacdac regarding the matter.

He further explained that the Filipina, identified as "Nacalaban," had been missing for at least two months. On January 2, her partner, who resides in the Philippines, contacted the office for assistance. The partner requested help, prompting an investigation.

Foreign Affairs Undersecretary Eduardo de Vega confirmed in a prior statement to Philstar.com that the incident occurred approximately two months ago.
