KUWAIT CITY, July 23: The Public Prosecution in Kuwait has ordered the pretrial detention of a Kuwaiti teacher accused of inciting one of his students to engage in prostitution and lewd acts via the Internet. In a statement, the Public Prosecution detailed that the teacher had sent the student messages, pictures, and video recordings through a social media account that violated public morals. It was noted that the teacher had a prior conviction for similar offenses. During interrogation, the teacher confessed to the charges. The investigation is ongoing.
