KUWAIT CITY, March 8: The Minister of Information and Culture and Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, commended the accomplishments of the teams that participated in the qualifying rounds for the World Submarine Championship held in the UAE. They were qualified for the West Asian Championship for submarines, which will be held in Maryland, USA in May.

This announcement was made through a press release issued by the Public Authority for Youth on Wednesday, when Minister Al-Mutairi welcomed the three qualifying teams, namely Blue Tech Open Class, Blue Tech High School, and ABS Tech.

The Acting Director General of the Commission, Meshaal Al-Subaie, stated that this victory represents the excellence of Kuwaiti youth in scientific research and innovation, and emphasized the leadership's commitment to supporting the youth and overcoming any obstacles they may face in their pursuit of excellence in all fields.

The Authority aims to highlight the talents of Kuwaiti youth, particularly those who have received prestigious awards, as it considers this victory as evidence of their competitiveness and success in international and regional forums.

Al-Subaie added that the Authority will continue to provide support and resources for Kuwaiti youth who are enthusiastic about science and work, and praised Minister Al-Mutairi's encouragement of creativity and excellence among the youth. Finally, he urged all young people to participate in training programs and workshops that will help them develop their skills and potential.
