KUWAIT CITY, July 27: Ministry of Education begins conducting interviews for vacant supervisory positions in the departments of human resources, public services, grievances, and psychological and social services. Educational sources told the daily that the interviews will be held under the chairmanship of the acting Undersecretary Mansour Al-Deehani, and the membership of the Assistant Undersecretaries to select four vacant department directors.
Filling these positions before the start of the 2024/2025 academic year aims to ensure the smooth flow of work. The Ministry of Education has terminated the services of 56 non-Kuwaiti teachers in integration classes for students with learning difficulties or slow learners, as part of its plans to Kuwaitize these jobs. This move is part of the Ministry’s plans to Kuwaitize these jobs, reserving them exclusively for Kuwaiti teachers.
The Ministry plans to appoint a number of Kuwaiti male and female teachers in the integration classes in schools allocated for this category of students, with transfers to take place during the summer vacation. Interviews for supervisory positions include managers, controllers, and department heads; positions being interviewed include Director of the Human Resources Department, Director of the Public Services Department of the Administrative Sector, Director of the Grievances Department in the Legal Sector, and Director of the Psychological and Social Services in the Educational Development Sector.
The applicants will present their vision for developing work in their respective departments through a presentation to the committee members, along with their CVs and career accomplishments. The interview committees will be headed by Acting Undersecretary Mansour Al- Deehani, with Assistant Undersecretaries Mansour Al-Dhafiri for the public education sector, Matrouk Al-Mutairi for administrative affairs, Muhammad Al-Adwani for legal affairs, and Maryam Al-Anazi for the educational development sector as members. Instructions have been issued by the Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Adel Al-Adwani, to expedite the filling of vacant supervisory positions during the summer vacation to ensure they are occupied before the new academic year 2024/2025 begins
