KUWAIT CITY, April 21: The Ministry of Finance has estimated the non-oil revenues from 36 ministries and government agencies at KD242 million in the general budget of the State for fiscal 2025/2026 -- an increase of 1.86 percent compared to the 2024/2025 budget. The newspaper obtained a copy of the budget report, stating that the estimated revenues in the current budget amounted to KD18.231 billion, including KD15.305 billion oil revenues (83.95 percent of the total revenues); while non-oil revenues amounted to KD2.926 billion or 16.05 percent. The estimated non-oil revenues for the current budget year include taxes and fees amounting to KD631.26 million or 3.46 percent of the total, KD120 million for social security contributions or 0.66 percent, and other revenues amounting to KD2.068 billion or 11.34 percent. The report added that non-oil revenues include KD106 million asset disposal revenues and other nonoperating revenues or 0.59 percent of the total.
