JEDDAH, Sept 14, (KUNA): Kuwaiti athletics team member Abdulrahman Al-Qahtani secured fourth place in the discus throw final at the 10th Arab Athletics Championship for juniors, held in Taif, Saudi Arabia, with a throw of 46 meters. In the high jump final, Khalil Al-Qattan also finished fourth, achieving a new personal best of 1.97 meters, while his teammate Mohammed Al-Duaij placed sixth. In the 100-meter final, Sayed Fakher claimed fifth place.

In the pole vault final, Yousef Mishari took fifth place with a new personal best of 3.70 meters, while Ali Al-Kandari came in sixth. In the 110-meter hurdles final, Abdullah Al-Yalous finished seventh, setting a personal record of 14.41 seconds. Earlier, Al-Qahtani won gold in the shot put final with a personal best of 18.24 meters.
