DOHA, Feb 17: Kuwaiti shooter Mohammad Al-Daihani secured third place in the skeet competition at the second edition of the Amir of Qatar Grand Prix for Shotgun, known as the “HH the Amir Award,” held at the Lusail Shooting Complex in Doha on Sunday. Al-Daihani told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that he managed to secure third place in the men’s category by successfully hitting 122 out of 125 targets in the championship, which was attended by many competitors from around the world. He expressed his happiness at securing third place, behind Qatari shooter Rashid Al-Athba, who took first place, and Georgian Yaroslav Startsav, who came second. He also noted that the three-day competition was strong and challenging. Al-Daihani thanked and appreciated the State of Qatar for its excellent organization and hospitality, as well as all his assistants who played a role in his success. The skeet competitions of the second edition of the Amir of Qatar Grand Prix for Shotgun began last Friday. (KUNA)
