KUWAIT CITY, Dec 2:  Kuwaiti racer Rashid Al-Dawas secured the second position in the professional category of the Sharjah International Jetski Championship, concluding its events on Saturday. Following the tournament's closure, Al-Dawas shared with Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that attaining the second spot is a significant personal accomplishment and a notable addition to Kuwait's sports legacy, renowned for its proficient athletes in this particular discipline.

Expressing his joy over this achievement, Al-Dawas emphasized the pride of representing the State of Kuwait on this Gulf platform. He commended the tournament's organization under the supervision of the Sharjah Marine Sports Club. Al-Dawas highlighted that his participation holds particular significance as it serves as preparation for the upcoming Thailand World Championship. This championship marks one of the final stages of the Champions Tournament, comprising four rounds, and is scheduled to commence on December 13, extending through the 17th in the city of Pattaya.
