KUWAIT CITY, Mar 2: The Ministry of Commerce and Industry has conducted an extensive inspection tour of shops selling dates, nuts, and coffee. The campaign aims to ensure compliance with commercial regulations, safeguard consumer rights, and monitor the quality and pricing of products in the market. During the inspections, officials focused on verifying the quality and freshness of dates and nuts, checking price lists, and ensuring that shops adhere to regulations, including the issuance of proper invoices to customers. The ministry emphasized its commitment to maintaining market stability and protecting consumers from any malpractices.
The ministry also announced that these inspection tours will continue throughout Ramadan, with strict legal actions to be taken against any violations. This initiative is part of the government’s broader efforts to regulate markets, ensure fair pricing, and uphold the rights of consumers during the holy month and beyond.
