Kuwait’s Deputy PM stresses importance of officer cadets in nation's security and defense

DOHA, Qatar, Oct 29: The First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, met with Kuwaiti officer cadets studying in various military academies in Qatar. In a statement released on Tuesday, the Kuwaiti Ministry of Defense said that during the meeting, which took place last night as part of his official visit to Qatar, Sheikh Fahd emphasized the importance of academic achievement and military training.

Sheikh Fahad Al-Yousef highlighted the pivotal role these cadets will play in supporting Kuwait’s military and security progress and urged them to strive for excellence and discipline, setting an honorable example for others to follow. Concluding the meeting, he expressed his pride in the Kuwaiti students studying in Qatar, wishing them continued success in their studies to serve as a distinguished example of the competence and dedication of Kuwaiti officers.

The cadets are sponsored by the Kuwaiti Army, the Ministry of Interior, represented by the Coast Guard, and the National Guard, and are studying at Ahmed bin Mohammed Military College, Mohammed bin Ghanim Naval Academy, and the Police College in Qatar. (KUNA)
