KUWAIT CITY, Nov 13: The Secretary-General of the Arab Agricultural Engineers Union, Muhammad Makki, said, “The Union should develop its activities and interaction with the rest of the responsible authorities in the Arab agricultural sectors, so that it remains effective in its influence and is present in its proposals and recommendations,” reports Al-Rai daily.

Speaking during the 90th meeting of the Union of Arab Agricultural Engineers, which was held at the Symphony Hotel in the presence of a member of the Kuwaiti Society of Agricultural Engineers, Engineer Meshal Al-Quraifa, he said, “the resources from the one Arab land must be integrated to serve the united Arab society with all its members, and that Arab governments must unify their vision and nations that speak multiple languages.”

For his part, the former Secretary-General of the Union of Arab Agricultural Engineers, Yahya Bako, thanked the Kuwaiti Society of Agricultural Engineers for this invitation.

He praised the efforts made by Kuwait towards local agricultural development, as it “provides great support to everyone who wants to invest in the agricultural sector, as Kuwait was originally built on desert, so with this support it became green.”
