KUWAIT CITY, Dec 1: Abdulaziz Al-Shatti, a player from Al-Qadisiyah Club, clinched the gold medal in the Epee Weapon category at the Kuwait General Championship for all-round fencing. Following closely was Faisal Ashkanani, a member of the Kuwaiti national fencing team, who secured the silver medal. Abdul-Rahman Fayrouz, representing Kuwait Club, earned the bronze medal, while Abdul-Azir Al-Awadhi from Kuwait Club also claimed the same honor, securing the third position once again.
This competition, featuring 167 players from 11 clubs, encompasses events in the Fleuré, Saber, and Epe weapons. The tournament is set to conclude tomorrow, Saturday, at the local game federation hall.
