KUWAIT CITY, Sept 2: The Kuwaiti national football team commenced its training today, marking the start of its preparatory camp in Dubai ahead of the 2026 World Cup and 2027 Asian Cup qualifiers. Saud Al-Mujammad, the head of the delegation and director of the national teams, provided insights to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA).

During this camp, the team will engage in two friendly matches against Bahrain and Kyrgyzstan on September 7 and 11, respectively. These matches are designed to fine-tune the team's performance and readiness for the upcoming qualifiers.

Al-Mujammad emphasized the pivotal nature of the World Cup qualifiers, highlighting the team's aspirations to secure a place in the final stage of the competition. Achieving this dream requires unwavering dedication and collective efforts from all involved parties.
