According to a press statement from the Kafel Development Foundation, the project was implemented in the Al-Wadi district of Marib, an area facing overcrowding due to thousands of displaced families. The initiative aims to alleviate pressure on other schools in the region and provide a conducive environment for education.

The education center includes 12 classrooms for both primary and secondary levels, two residential apartments, a mosque, a schoolyard, and all necessary furniture and accessories to ensure a suitable educational setting.

During the inauguration, Abdulaziz Al-Bakri, Deputy Director of the Education Office in Marib, expressed his gratitude to Kuwait for the generous support extended to the Yemeni people. He commended the efforts made by Kuwait to improve education in the region.

Saleh Al-Saqqaf, Director General of the Planning and International Cooperation Office in Marib, emphasized that this project represents a significant contribution to the infrastructure and development of Yemen. He praised Kuwait and its people for their ongoing support, which helps meet the needs of the Yemeni population.

He highlighted the importance of the Aisha Fakhro Education Center in addressing the severe overcrowding in local schools, thereby improving educational opportunities for students in the region.
