KUWAIT CITY, May 20: Kuwait's men's handball team concluded their participation in the Asian qualifiers for the 2024 Paris Olympics on Saturday. The qualifiers were held in Doha, Qatar, from October 18 to 28. Kuwait was placed in the second group alongside Bahrain, Iran, Uzbekistan, Japan, and Tajikistan in the draw.
Meanwhile, the first group consisted of Qatar, Saudi Arabia, South Korea, the UAE, India, and China. Under the qualifying system, the team that finishes in first place directly secures a spot at the 2024 Paris Olympics. The second and third-place teams will have the opportunity to compete in the Olympic qualifying supplement for a chance to secure their Olympic berths.
