KUWAIT CITY, Dec 5: The Scientific Center, part of the Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS), signed a cooperation agreement with the National Aquarium in Abu Dhabi on Thursday. The agreement aims to strengthen the partnership and foster the exchange of expertise in environmental education and marine environment conservation.
Eng. Musaed Al-Yassin, Director General of the center, told the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that the agreement is part of the center’s efforts to achieve excellence in raising environmental awareness and inspiring both current and future generations to preserve natural resources.
Al-Yassin emphasized that this collaboration with the National Aquarium in Abu Dhabi marks a strategic step in partnering with one of the world’s leading institutions in this field. The partnership is expected to enhance the development of innovative educational and entertainment experiences, further solidifying the Scientific Center’s role as a distinctive destination for visitors both in Kuwait and the region.
The agreement aims to strengthen the relationship between the two institutions by facilitating the exchange of ideas and best practices at the global level. It also seeks to open doors for future initiatives and projects focused on supporting environmental and educational efforts, with an emphasis on adopting sustainable practices and environmentally friendly innovations.
