KUWAIT CITY, Dec 01: In a recent operation war on drugs, 31 expats have been detained in connection with 18 cases involving an estimated 14 kilograms of various drugs, 42,000 psychotropic pills, and an unlicensed firearm with ammunition.

The General Department of Narcotics Control, as part of its ongoing efforts to enforce the law and enhance security measures, successfully carried out these arrests, which targeted individuals of various nationalities. The seized items included narcotics such as Shabu, Hashish, Chemical, Marijuana, and Heroin, along with a significant quantity of psychotropic pills. Additionally, an unlicensed firearm and proceeds from drug sales were confiscated.

After being questioned, the individuals admitted to owning the confiscated items for trafficking and abuse. Subsequently, the suspects and seized items have been handed over to the relevant authorities to initiate the necessary legal proceedings against them.
