KUWAIT CITY, Sept 25: The Asian and African qualifiers for the "Doha 2024" World Cup continued in Kuwait, showcasing intense competition in both the men's and women's categories.

In the men's matches, Egypt triumphed over Kuwait 2-1, while Saudi Arabia secured a commanding 3-0 victory against Thailand. The UAE also defeated Bahrain with a similar 3-0 score. Iran edged past Japan 2-1, Oman overcame China with the same 2-1 score, and Australia dominated Senegal, winning 3-0.

On the women's side, Kuwait suffered its first loss, falling to Japan 0-3. Oman defeated the UAE 2-1, Egypt overcame Iran, and the Philippines beat Thailand, both with 2-1 scores. Australia completed a clean sweep against Senegal with a 3-0 victory.
