KUWAIT CITY, Nov 16, (Agencies): Appeals Court, led by Judge Nasr Al-Heid, passed a "life sentence" for Egyptian, who murdered two colleagues in the Fintas area and attempted to kill a third in a Shawarma restaurant.
During investigations, the Egyptian expatriate admitted to committing the crime due to insults and belittlement from the two victims. He denied premeditation, describing it as a result of a workplace disagreement that escalated. Unintentionally, he took a knife, stabbing the victims with fatal wounds. One victim died minutes after hospital transfer, and the second succumbed after about 18 hours in intensive care.
While the Criminal Court sentenced him to life imprisonment, the Court of Appeal, after psychiatric evaluation, upheld the life sentence, establishing his responsibility for the actions.
