KUWAIT CITY, Dec 2: The General Administration of Relations and Media at the Ministry of Interior has announced that the General Administration of Coast Guard will conduct live ammunition shooting exercises in the territorial waters on Tuesday and Wednesday, December 3 and 4, 2024, from 8:00 AM to 3:00 PM.

The shooting range is located southeast of Bubiyan Island, northeast of Failaka Island, along the southern side of Bubiyan Island, extending to Ras al-Qayd, 11 nautical miles southeast, and alongside Failaka Island, extending to Owhah Island, 15 nautical miles northeast. It is 2.8 nautical miles from Failaka Island in the northeast direction. The field extends 15 nautical miles in the northeast direction and is 11 nautical miles wide.

The administration has warned all sea-goers to stay clear of the shooting area during the mentioned period, and all maritime patrols will prevent anyone from approaching the area, ensuring the safety of everyone.
