KUWAIT CITY, Aug 22: Detectives are actively pursuing a citizen who attacked his family members with a machete inside their home in the Al-Waha area of Jahra Governorate. The suspect, who was reportedly in an abnormal state, fled the scene before security forces arrived.

According to a security source cited by Al-Rai, the Ministry of Interior’s operations room received an urgent call from a family member, prompting security personnel to rush to the house. Upon arrival, they found the family members in a state of terror, but the suspect had already escaped. The family reported that the individual, armed with a machete, had threatened to kill them due to ongoing disputes.

The source added that security officers gathered information on the suspect and have circulated his details to detectives. Efforts are underway to locate and apprehend him, so he can be brought before the relevant authorities for legal action.
