Maid Attempts Suicide by Drinking Pesticide

KUWAIT CITY, Feb 1: A 35-year-old domestic worker was rushed to Jahra Hospital for treatment after attempting suicide at her sponsor’s residence in Old Jahra. According to a medical source, the expatriate worker allegedly consumed pesticide in an attempt to end her life. Doctors provided her with immediate first aid, and her condition has since improved. Authorities are scheduled to investigate the incident as a case of attempted suicide.
