KUWAIT CITY, March 15: The head of the Kuwaiti Federation of Owners of Domestic Workers Offices, Khaled Al-Dakhnan said the domestic workers hiring offices have come to a complete standstill following the outbreak of the coronavirus and to add insult to injury no domestic workers are able to enter the country in line with the decision issued by the Council of Ministers to suspend the incoming and outgoing flights, reports Al-Anba daily.

Al-Dakhnan added, the losses incurred by these officers are 100 percent since they have received no new requests for domestic hire but continue to pay the salaries of workers and rent of offices from their pockets in the light of the lack of the applications that allow hiring them during this time.

He continued a major crisis is looking as the holy month of Ramadan is just around the corner and this has caused them many problems and material losses
