KUWAIT CITY, Feb 1: As part of ongoing efforts to enhance security and apprehend criminals and visa violators, the Ministry of Interior, under the directives of His Excellency Sheikh Fahd Yousef Saud Al-Sabah, First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior, conducted a comprehensive security and traffic campaign in the Sabah Al-Salem area on Friday, January 31, 2025. The operation was carried out by the Traffic and Operations Sector and the Private Security Sector.

The campaign resulted in the following outcomes:

- 2,293 traffic violations were issued.

- 6 individuals wanted for arrest warrants were apprehended.

- 8 violators of the Residence and Labor Law were arrested.

 -1 individual without proof of identity was detained.

 -6 absconders.

 -1 person was arrested for driving without a license.

 -1 case was referred to the Juvenile Investigations Department.

 -17 vehicles and motorcycles wanted in connection with various cases were seized.

- 19 vehicles and motorcycles were impounded for traffic violations.

 - 1 individual was referred to the traffic police.

The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed its commitment to continuing security and traffic campaigns across the country to ensure the arrest of violators and outlaws while promoting compliance with the law. The ministry also urged the public to cooperate with security personnel and report any violations or suspicious activities by calling the emergency hotline at 112.
