Major security operation in Jabriya leads to 800 traffic tickets and multiple arrests

KUWAIT CITY, Sept 28: Security authorities conducted a comprehensive security operation in the Jabriya area, led by the First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defense, and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahd Al-Yousef. The operation involved the General Traffic Department, the General Department of Rescue Police, and the Public Security Sector, with support from the Special Security Forces.

As part of the campaign, all entrances and exits to Jabriya were closed, and checkpoints were established to apprehend violators. The operation resulted in the issuance of 800 traffic tickets, the arrest of four individuals found in possession of narcotics, and the seizure of 18 vehicles and motorcycles. Additionally, 11 individuals wanted for arrest and absence cases were apprehended, along with four vehicles linked to outstanding warrants, two individuals violating residency laws, and nine others referred to traffic police.

According to a statement from the Ministry of Interior on its “X” platform, this campaign is part of a broader strategic plan to enhance security throughout the country. The ministry emphasized that all necessary measures were implemented to ensure the campaign's objectives were met efficiently and accurately. It also noted that such security operations will continue periodically to uphold the rule of law and support ongoing efforts to maintain security and public order in the country.
