Major Security Sweep in Maidan Hawally Nets 1,141 Violations and Multiple Arrests

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 7: On Thursday, a comprehensive security and traffic campaign involving multiple field sectors of the Ministry of Interior was conducted in the Maidan Hawally area. The operation led to significant law enforcement results, addressing traffic violations, residency law infractions, and other legal breaches.

During the campaign, authorities issued 1,141 traffic violations and impounded 24 vehicles and motorcycles found to be in breach of regulations. Additionally, eight vehicles and motorcycles were seized due to their involvement in ongoing cases.

Law enforcement also took five individuals into custody for violating residency laws, and detained three individuals with outstanding absence orders. Furthermore, four individuals wanted for arrest were apprehended, alongside a person in possession of narcotics and another individual found to be in an abnormal state.

This operation reflects the Ministry’s commitment to maintaining public safety and legal compliance within Kuwait. The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed its dedication to upholding law and order through campaigns targeting various misconduct.
