UWAIT CITY, Nov 16: The Minister of Social, Family, and Childhood Affairs Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah officially launched “Al-Makash 3” project on Saturday evening on the northern island of the Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Bridge. The event will run until the end of March 2025. In her opening speech, Dr. Al-Huwailah explained that Al-Makash 3 project reflects the ministry’s commitment to offering an integrated entertainment experience suitable for all members of society. The project features a range of amenities, including children’s play areas, a mini zoo, an expansion of popular cafes, and an increase in the number of restaurants to meet visitors’ needs. The project aims to attract around 200,000 visitors, which will enhance social interaction and provide a safe, enjoyable environment for families. The ministry has exerted efforts to ensure accessibility by offering free entry for children up to the age of four and for people with special needs. Electronic reservations are available through the EVENTAT application, which aims to streamline visitor access and improve the entry process
