DOHA, Oct 26, (KUNA): Ali Makhseed secured first place in the opening round of the Qatar Drift Championship for the 2024-2025 season, held in Doha, Qatar. Salem Al-Sarraf finished in second place, while Omani driver Ahmed Al-Amri took third.

In a statement to KUNA, Makhseed expressed that his victory in this initial round motivates him to maintain his performance and strive for the championship title by the competition's conclusion next April.

He extended his gratitude to the Qatar Racing Club for their excellent organization and acknowledged the fierce competition from his fellow participants, dedicating his win to the State of Kuwait and its motorsport fans.

The Qatar Drift Championship consists of five rounds, with four scheduled for this year and the final round set for mid-April.
