KUWAIT CITY, Oct 25: The Criminal Security Sector, represented by the General Department of Criminal Investigations, successfully arrested an individual suspected of assaulting a young woman in a shopping mall. This arrest followed the circulation of a video on social media showing the alleged attack, which spurred immediate action from law enforcement, particularly the Ahmadi Investigations Department.

The victim, initially hospitalized, has since been discharged in good health after receiving necessary treatment. Contrary to initial reports on social media, her health condition is stable. The attacker, now in custody, faces charges under case number 2024/406 (assault) and awaits legal proceedings with relevant authorities.

In an official statement, the Ministry of Interior emphasized its commitment to swift and firm responses to any actions that breach public safety, stressing that violations will be met with decisive action to uphold the safety and security of all citizens and residents.
