KUWAIT CITY, July 29: Director General of Kuwait Municipality Ahmad Al-Manfouhi announced on Wednesday opening shopping malls from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m., while paralleled and retail food markets are to Open from 6 a.m. to 8 a.m.


Changing the working hours comes as the country is moving from the second stage to the third phase to gradually go back to normal life, in accordance with the Council of Ministers' decision issued last Thursday, effective as of yesterday, Al-Manfouhi added in a press conference.
Parallel markets, catering food markets and food stores are allowed to open from 6 a.m. to 8 p.m., he added.


Markets of prior scheduled appointments system of the Ministry of Commerce will only open doors for customers with registered appointments, during the allowed working hours, he affirmed.
Hotels, resorts including swimming pools, gyms, beauty salons and seating lobbies will remain closed, he added.


He called on all the operating stores to abide by the health requirements listed in circulars of the Ministry of health and specialized governmental bodies, to avoid legal questioning and punishments, he said
