KUWAIT CITY, Aug 9 : Jahra security personnel have issued a notice for the arrest of a young man who fled from a checkpoint, was driving recklessly, and caused damage to state property. According to a security source, the incident occurred around 1:00 am yesterday on Kabd Road. A bronze Japanese sedan with two occupants was stopped at the checkpoint. When asked to identify themselves, the driver accelerated rapidly, prompting a chase that ended with the vehicle being forced to stop.
The driver and his passenger were evicted from the vehicle, but the driver then escaped, leaving behind his companion and a transparent bag containing seven pills suspected to be narcotics. The fleeing driver collided with a security patrol car, obstructing its pursuit. The companion provided the security forces with the driver's full name and address.
