KUWAIT CITY, Jan 25: In a disturbing incident reported on Saturday, criminal security forces are searching for a 40-year-old man, who is wanted on charges of violently assaulting a woman in her thirties. The attack allegedly occurred in front of the building where the victim lives.
According to a security source, the victim, a 30-year-old woman, complained to a local police station detailing the assault. She described how the assailant, identified as a man in his forties, unexpectedly attacked her, hitting her on the face, head, and shoulder, and biting her left hand. The assault was accompanied by threats, with the perpetrator allegedly stating, "I will show you and disfigure you."
The victim provided a medical report from a government hospital which confirmed her injuries, including abrasions on her face and head, and bite marks on her left hand. The reasons behind the assault remain unclear at this time.
To aid in the investigation, authorities plan to review footage from security cameras located at the scene of the crime. This footage will be crucial in verifying the details of the incident and ensuring the veracity of the victim's account.
The case has been officially registered, with the medical documentation attached to the police file to substantiate the claim of assault. The police are actively seeking to apprehend the suspect to bring him to justice for this violent act.
