KUWAIT CITY, Feb 12: Criminal security personnel have begun searching for an unknown individual who used a lost bank credit card to purchase electronics, dine at restaurants, and buy food. A security source reported that a Kuwaiti citizen working in the fire department filed a report at the Al-Faiha police station on behalf of his sister, who had lost her bank card after it was lost in a cooperative society. An unknown person found and used the card, making purchases at electronics stores, restaurants, and other shops in the Fahaheel area. The transactions were revealed in the bank statement.

The source added that the case has been handed over to investigators. It was emphasized that using a lost bank card, even if the owner mistakenly discarded it, constitutes theft. The correct procedure is for the person who finds the card to return it to either the police station or the bank. The source also mentioned that investigators will contact the electronics store where the suspect used the card to review security footage.
