KUWAIT CITY, March 1: According to informed educational sources, there are many supervisory positions - both administrative and educational - in the various sectors of the Ministry of Education that have not been filled even though several years have passed since they became vacant, reports Al-Anba daily. They stressed that the number of these vacancies amounts to about 300, which are in the ministry’s head office and different educational zones.

The sources affirmed that the failure to fill these supervisory vacancies led to instability in the educational system. They called for a speedy end to this problem, which has negatively affected the workflow within the ministry and its various sectors, as well as in the school administrations. Meanwhile, the Public Relations and Security Media Department at the Ministry of Interior issued an official clarification regarding the video clip that went viral on social media, showing the maritime patrol of a sisterly country stopping a Kuwaiti, reports Al-Rai daily
