KUWAIT CITY, June 24: Officers from the Public Security sector arrested 22 young men and women and confiscated liquor from flats that were being used for holding illicit parties in Salwa area. According to security sources, the sector received a number of complaints from residents of Salwa area about loud parties being held in some flats.Under the guidance of Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Khalid Al-Jarrah and Undersecretary of Ministry of Interior Lieutenant General Essam Al- Naham, Public Security officers were dispatched for patrolling the area. They discovered that parties were being held in some suspicious flats. The officers raided the flats, arrested a total of 22 young men and women and confiscated liquor.The arrested individuals were referred to the General Department for Moral Guidance for necessary legal action.
