KUWAIT CITY, Sept 7: As part of efforts to enhance Kuwait's health infrastructure and improve medical services, the Maternity Hospital has announced the relocation of its outpatient clinics from the old facility to a newly constructed building at the New Maternity Hospital.

The new hospital has been built in accordance with the latest international standards for diagnosing and treating gynecological and obstetric conditions. It also incorporates eco-friendly and energy-efficient green building specifications. The state-of-the-art facility boasts a capacity of 789 beds, 59 delivery rooms, 28 operating rooms, and 81 outpatient clinics. Additionally, 80% of the rooms offer sea views, aiming to create a more comfortable environment for patients and visitors.

In addition to patient rooms, the hospital is equipped with specialized laboratories and pharmacies to ensure comprehensive care for all patients.

This new hospital is a key project in Kuwait's development plan. The facility covers a land area of 65,000 square meters, with a total building area of 357,400 square meters.
