KUWAIT CITY, Dec 21: Abdullah Dashti, head of the media committee for the "Khaleeji Zain 26", affirmed that all necessary facilities have been provided to Gulf and Arab media professionals to ensure comprehensive coverage of the sporting event, which officially launched on Saturday under the high patronage of  High Highness the Amir  Sheikh Meshal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah. The committee has prioritized delivering the highest standards of professionalism and expertise in media support.

In a press statement, Dashti highlighted the establishment of a central media center at the "Crowne Plaza" Hotel, equipped with state-of-the-art computers, internet access, designated photography areas, and spaces for press interviews. To further assist media professionals, the committee has arranged buses to transport them from the media center to the tournament stadiums.

Dashti also noted that two additional media centers have been set up at the tournament's stadiums—Jaber International Stadium and Jaber Al-Mubarak Stadium. These centers are designed to host press conferences and post-match interviews and include designated spaces for media representatives. Furthermore, the committee ensures real-time distribution of event images to media agencies.

He emphasized the committee's commitment to closely coordinating with broadcasting channels to streamline their coverage of tournament events. Support has also been extended to new media outlets for swift reporting of the tournament’s highlights. Dashti called on media representatives to cooperate with the committee members to ensure the success of their efforts.

Dashti expressed gratitude for the significant backing provided by Abdulrahman Al-Mutairi, Minister of Information and Culture, Minister of State for Youth Affairs, and Chairman of the Supreme Organizing Committee of the tournament. He commended Al-Mutairi’s proactive support, particularly during the inauguration of the central media center last Thursday and his engagement with media representatives. This backing, Dashti added, has greatly facilitated the committee’s mission to deliver its media objectives effectively.
