Medical Emergency Dept tackled over 1,072 responses during the recent rain wave.

KUWAIT CITY, Nov 18, (Agencies): During the recent rainfall, the Medical Emergency Department at the Ministry of Health, under the leadership of Dr. Ahmed Al-Shatti, responded to a total of 1,072 ambulance reports, averaging 356 reports per day.

This surge in activity included a rise in road accidents, totaling 94 accidents during the rains, with a daily average of 31 accidents—an increase from the pre-rainfall daily average of 21 accidents. Dr. Al-Shatti commended the collaborative efforts of all involved parties, particularly the emergency medical personnel and the hospital accident response team.
