Medical teams in Kuwait urged to wear face masks

KUWAIT CITY, Dec 28: In Circular No. 161 of 2024, the Ministry of Health emphasized the significance of medical and paramedical staff donning masks throughout their working hours in hospitals, specialized centers, and primary healthcare facilities. The directive also stressed the imperative of maintaining clean hands through regular washing with water, soap, and disinfectants, in addition to completing seasonal respiratory vaccinations, notably the updated versions of the COVID-19 and flu vaccines.

The Ministry underscores these measures as part of its commitment to delivering quality health services, particularly in light of the global surge in respiratory virus infections reported by many countries.
