KUWAIT CITY, Feb 5: The Ministry of Electricity, Water and Renewable Energy has asked the Civil Service Commission (CSC) to clarify the nature of the comprehensive salary mentioned in its decisions regarding the re-employment of those whose nationalities were withdrawn, reports Al-Anba daily quoting sources from the ministry. Sources pointed out the ambiguity in the definition of ‘comprehensive salary’ in terms of the amounts allocated for social security or deducting them from the salary, especially since those whose nationalities were withdrawn are not covered by the social security system. Sources said the new contracts are currently being signed with those whose nationalities were withdrawn, indicating their number in the ministry exceeds 100. Sources added the objective of this step is to amend their status under the applicable employment decisions.
