KUWAIT CITY, Oct 26:  The Ministry of Electricity, Water, and Renewable Energy has announced that maintenance work will commence today, Saturday, on several secondary transformer stations across the six governorates. This maintenance is expected to last until November 2nd, leading to scheduled power outages in specific areas as outlined in the maintenance schedule.

In a statement shared on its official account on the X platform on Friday, the ministry indicated that the maintenance activities will begin at 8:00 AM and are anticipated to last for four hours. The duration may be subject to change depending on the nature and conditions of the work.

The ministry has encouraged customers to review the maintenance schedule for detailed information regarding the planned outages.

The areas and times specified in the maintenance schedule:

Saturday, October 26, 2024: Duration: 4 hours, starting at 8:00 AM

Area: Al-Ardiya; Al Waha; East Hawalli and Hawalli

Sunday, October 27, 2024: Duration: 4 hours, starting at 8:00 AM 

Area: Andalus and Taimah
