Minister Al-Jalal: Education is key to Kuwait’s national renaissance

KUWAIT CITY, Oct 5: Dr. Nader Al-Jalal, the Acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, stated today, Saturday, that the State of Kuwait proudly appreciates the efforts of those working in the educational sector. He emphasized that the attention given to education is clearly reflected in the generous patronage of His Highness the Amir of the State, Sheikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, may God protect him, who gives all his attention and appreciation to teachers.

In a press statement issued by the Ministry of Education on the occasion of World Teacher's Day, which falls on October 5th each year, Minister Al-Jalal said that education is "one of the most important pillars upon which our national renaissance relies," describing it as "the cornerstone upon which Kuwait's vision for a knowledge-based society is built, thus enhancing the country's sustainable development."

He added that the care for education is evident in the generous patronage of His Highness the Amir, who gives all his attention and appreciation to teachers. He stressed that the annual official recognition organized by the Ministry of Education for teachers embodies His Highness's keenness to follow up on their affairs and support them in all local and international forums.

The minister pointed out that this profound attention motivates educational workers to give more and be dedicated to fulfilling their noble mission.

Minister Al-Jalal extended his highest congratulations and appreciation to all teachers on the occasion of World Teacher's Day, affirming that "teachers carry the highest message and exert efforts to elevate the level of students to face emerging challenges and keep pace with the rapid changes of our current era."
